This short film explores a near future in which artificial intelligence has become indispensable to our lives, to the point where humanity can no longer function without it. The story reflects on our growing technological dependence and the implications of surrendering our autonomy to machines.
The project’s cinematography was conceived to feel natural and intimate, reinforcing a sense of realism within this dystopian world. The short film had the honor of being selected for Notodofilmfest, where it was presented to a specialized short-film audience.
El Último Suspiro - Short Film
It is a 7-second short film created for the 7Sif Festival, a space dedicated to exploring cinematic storytelling in its briefest form. The piece portrays a girl illuminated solely by a candle, confronted by a presence that emerges from the darkness.
The short film was conceived with a low-key aesthetic, using natural light as the only lighting resource, with the candle serving both as a light source and a narrative element. Within a minimal timeframe, the project aims to create tension and atmosphere through the contrast between light and shadow.
Decisiones Difíciles - Short - Film
It is a 7-second short film created for the 7Sif Festival that humorously portrays one of the most universal everyday dilemmas: choosing between eating healthy or eating what tastes good. In a minimal amount of time, the piece condenses a simple decision that we have all faced, showing how even the smallest conflicts can be told cinematically in just a few seconds.
PANDEMIA Short - Film
During the pandemic, I made this short film portraying life in a post-apocalyptic world. The story follows Lucas, who, after losing his family, must confront loneliness and the challenges of a devastated environment. It was filmed in the midst of the 2020 pandemic, with all lighting created exclusively using the available lights inside the house, resulting in an authentic and intimate atmosphere.
A very high-contrast approach was used to maintain constant tension, reinforcing the sense of uncertainty and isolation. An intimate look at survival, loss, and hope in the midst of confinement.
